People keep telling that they want our Gungame server to be DM based (respawn after death) and then when I ask others, they wish it to stay the same, scrim based (No respawn, round matches).

 

So this thread is for which one you prefer. And since I know that the majority of this clan is American, meaning you don't like to vote in polls, you can also comment your choice.

I like both, no respawn adds a weight to you, where you have to be careful, aim your shots and actually try to play. DM you don't have to worry, but it adds a more fast paced play style. DM is great for the nade round, as you can just lob nades and eventually get a kill, and knife is easier. but every other round (i.e. rounds with guns) it is easier if once you eliminate someone they stay dead leaving you at an advantage of a thinner enemy crowd.

 

Either way the server isn't populated very often (i personally try to get groups going and get on the less populated servers [GG, DR] and populate em) but once somebody leaves the server, everyone else tends to follow. and it then remains at 0 people for a long time. maybe something needs to be done where there is a interval banner that pops up saying something along the lines of "Type !servers to view many other game modes that we provide!"

 

(i suggest that because the issue isn't really DM or not, it is that it is unpopulated.) the rounds feel longer and more boring without respawn with less people because it is easier to hide from 1 person than it is from 5-6 people.

if silence or starbuck could find/make a plugin that allows ppl to vote for dm style and scrim style in game, that way if ppl are bored with scrim style, they can vote for dm style untl they wanna switch back to scrim and vice versa

Most of the people who actually go in there and populate it (I.E Me and Roxy) prefer it the way it is
