LastGame 0 Posted August 16, 2013 My disk drive on my pc, will just open at random times and take about 7 minutes to make it stop opening. Anyone know how to make this stop. Coherent translation: The disk drive keeps opening up. It does it randomly. It takes a while to get it to stay closed. It keeps reopening. Does anyone know how to stop this problem? 1 MagicalPurple reacted to this

Audible_Savage 0 Posted August 18, 2013 laptops sometime have this problem. usually it's a hardware/software herpderp. if its a desktop just open it up and unplug everything from the disc drive and only plug it back in when you need it :) 1 HaplessIdiot reacted to this
LastGame 0 Posted August 22, 2013 It's a desktop, the ####### disk drives have never worked. One only opened once like 3 years ago, and the poor disk I put in is still in there. 1 MagicalPurple reacted to this
Audible_Savage 0 Posted August 28, 2013 ok if you want the dis back. there is a small hole on the front of 90% of all disc drives. push it in and the drive should automatically come out. i think what your problem is is that your power supply isnt properly hooked up to your disc drive. or maybe its the its the sata cable. you'll have to open up your machine and go exploring. :) 1 HaplessIdiot reacted to this
