QualityArsenic 2 Posted April 23, 2017 Division: Team Fortress 2 In-Game Name: Gravidea Identity: Steam Community :: Gravidea Ban Type: Server Ban Information: Banned by tatost for what I assume was using my donor commands to colour myself in friendly. He didn't seem to message me about it, so I don't really have the full details on why I was banned. I almost always have my voice volume off (because I more often than not have to mute people because I don't want to listen to them, and I don't voice chat often) so if they were talking to me through voice chat then I did not hear them. Right before I got banned, he picked me up in game to stop me from moving, and when I thought he was just messing around and killed myself to get away from him, I was banned. If I'm grabbing you and holding you for reasons you don't know then turn your voice on. I was literally yelling at you to stop coloring yourself to normal in friendly mode and then running in front of my entire team thus getting them killed because it's a distraction. I've already told you this once before, I don't think you should be unbanned. Maybe it can be reduced to a lower ban because you didn't have voice on, but that's my side. 1 TBOHB reacted to this

You were also making fun of someone named ShadowFlame on the server, as he kept saying "dude I'm sensitive, can you please stop making fun of me?" (He is still being affected by this on the server right now.)

I see no reason for this ban to be taken off as its only a day ban for good reason.

Problem with this is, I have not been asked by another staff member to uncolour myself ever before, so this was the first. I did not think it was a problem in the slightest, and I wasn't "running around in front of the whole team". The first time you spoke of it in text chat (a while before I was banned), I assumed it was because I had been blocking your sniper lines by accident or something like that. (He is still being affected by this on the server right now.) If that has affect on the ban, then I'm sorry. I thought everyone was messing around, and when I came back I had stopped. QualityArsenic 2 Posted April 23, 2017 All right, all seems in order. I'll be off then if it's only a day ban. I was just worried because it seemed that I had been permanently banned from all xG servers.
Vexx 112 Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) I've usually ignored people recoloring themselves in friendly, as after one shot it's easy to tell that they're in friendly mode. I usually only punish people for friendly abuse, not recoloring themselves. Though, you really should keep your voice on to listen to staff, if you don't want to hear people just mute everyone but the staff members through your in-game menu. Though I'll admit, staff should give a clear warning in text chat through all chat if in the event the player is not listening, not doing so makes you look pretty incompetent. Tatost 604 Posted April 23, 2017 Steam Community :: Screenshot This is where you were sitting in normal color mode, where both me and three others shot at you in instinct as a guy came over and sniped me.

I feel the same way to be quite honest. Muting people is a heck of a pain to do over and over, so that's the reason I had my voice volume off, and turning it on and off is also a pain. Tatost 604 Posted April 23, 2017 you did also come back onto the server and use the !calladmin command on me, so that I missed in the ban reason, but it was also the reason why it was a day ban.
QualityArsenic 2 Posted April 23, 2017 you did also come back onto the server and use the !calladmin command on me, so that I missed in the ban reason, but it was also the reason why it was a day ban. I assumed the reason for the ban was simply that I was using it in general and not that I was getting in anyone's day. I also thought that you were ignoring me or not speaking to me when I returned because you only spoke once in text chat in full caps to get me to stop using /colorme in friendly. I thought you were going to just keep kicking me for using my permissions, and for that I'm sorry.
Vexx 112 Posted April 23, 2017 Due to the fact that no warning was issued in chat, I am going to +1 for unban. As for the calladmin thing, can we get a screenshot of that tatost? @Sesh @mrnutty12
