Razer BlackWidow

I'm thinking of buying a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate (Battlefield 3 edition).

 

Has anyone else ever had one? Or even typed on one? I'v never owned a mechanical keyboard, although the one I'v got ight now is meant to feel like one I imagine it to be very different.

 

So yeah, basically I want everyone's opinions on whether I should get one or not, Thanks!

Imo it's a gimmick. What's wrong with your current keyboard?

I honestly don't use any gaming gear except for my mouse, and I don't even have a mouse pad. I think that if your trying to get a nice keyboard, get the Logitech G15. It has a nice layout , its simple and not so expensive compared to others.

My keyboard is 10 years old and cost $20 :P It still works...well...mostly...

I've had my keyboard for 2 years, it was 25 dollars and barley works, i'm lucky i'm able to at least type. :/

I have some microsoft one that has a blue top and a little wrist rest. It's good.

Hve some weirdly shaped logitech keyboard but sill works and has had for a couple of years. Kinda wanna upgrade to something like you were looking at.
