Surf Server Problems

So, I play on the surf server a lot, and sometimes I am surfing and i just randomly stop, not slow down just stop. Why dos this happen and can it be fixed? Please help i'm really confused.

It's because of the map and no it can't be fixed. Just start the map again.

Yes but it happens all the time, usually when im falling completely downward on a ramp but still

Isnt it when a hammer unit is out of place or something? I always thought it was something a DM or DL could fix. its just even when i do that it doesn't work oh well, thanks

Unless you can get the map creator to fix it we're just going to be getting stuck on ramps xd

It is just how the source engine handles rampsliding (eg. maintaining momentum on an uneven surface [see: fancy rocket jumps]) I am afraid.

Even if it could be fixed by a mapmaker, I doubt we could get any of them to do so for us.
