I got a TOSHIBA Satellite with an i5 CORE, 750GB HDD and 8GB Ram, and a bunch of other Dues Specs for around 468 dollars (but the screen is 14.7 inches). Now if u MUST have AMD, then i recommend getting a Sony VAIO. Very good quality, and lasts a long time. but this is all me, so you do what you wanna do. Brian 50 Posted February 14, 2013 Leveno Thinkpads are also a viable option. Granted, it's intel integrated GPU, which isn't that great, but you can find used ones for around 200$ and slap a Linux Distro on it. Spend the extra 300$ on upgrades, as these laptop are stupidly easy to upgrade, and really nice for the price. Or get a new one, and spend a few dollars on upgrades.
