To be honest, I would go with Windows 8, thats what I chose and I'm glad I did. (Will set you back around $95) It certainly will be a pretty good PC and the only issue I have with it is the processor, you can put in an extra 50 bucks and get something much better. Using 1920 x 1080 that graphics card benchmarks around 72 FPS on average using very high settings and high AA on Arma 2. I would expect to see it around 50 fps at least. Would replacing some parts help ? Ram is okay, I'd say if you have extra money go ahead and add a little more, but 6 really isnt anything to complain about. The processor is so-so, not something that HAS to be changed. It is a little older but is pretty good in general. Graphics card: Thats your problem. Benchmarks are showing around 10 fps on far cry 2.
