First off, @Matsi im not really sure why you continue to say stuff like that.. you gotta understand this is a gaming community and has people of all ages. Nobody should be subjected to the sexually explicit talk like that, especially in shoutbox where it is public. Its just not a good decision, and not really sure why you keep doing it.

 

 

Secondly, why are we banning getting rid of someone for something they said, with the excuse that its a felony? Way to bring up a scenario from before Jesus was born. There's no proof of it, other than what was written, not enough to truly say it really happened. Yes, I understand it was vulgar and may not be something anyone thinks is ok, but lets move the frick on.

 

Now I haven't been around Matsi a lot anymore, which may make my opinion a little skewed, but he actually is a really good addition to xG when you ignore the vulgar language. Nobody has posted more ban protests, which in reality make TF2 a much better place. Bringing his use of power doesn't matter here either, as we are looking at a member protest, not an abuse report. Remember that we are essentially looking to perm ban matsi from all of xG, way different than removing powers and requires a good amount of reasoning behind it.

 

Let me ask you all a serious question then:

 

If Matsi stops with the vulgar talk, can you all survive with him still being around?

 

I'm genuinely interested in answers to that, a simply yes or no with explanation will suffice; don't assume this is what will happen to him either.

I thought we all agreed when we discussed this that a member protest wouldn't help. You said to keep him out of your division, and we agreed. I have yet to see him post in the CS:GO division, as of our discussion, and he said he would mostly keep to himself. If he's causing more recent problems, you should be telling Scoot, Kb, or I.

Just because something is blowing up, doesn't mean it's true. "Don't believe everything you hear/read on the internet". Heard that one a million times, and learned from my own mistakes.

 

95% of the stuff you are talking about has no proof to back it up (it's just he said, she said). I'M NOT SAYING IT DID NOT HAPPEN; WE DID NOT SEE IT, NOR DID ANYONE TELL US ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW. However, I do see the quotes about him stroking a dog, giving blowjobs, or w/e. I agree, it makes people uncomfortable, and you told him, so he should not be speaking like that in public (especially in front of the younger people we have here). He has not spoken about his past experiences since then; you guys just keep bringing it up from that past event. Need I point out the snide remarks, bio's, and statuses with quotes of him saying that.

 

I don't really know what truthfully goes on between you guys, but I realize that you are extremely upset and tired of him. I understand that, and you have a right to be. However, I spent about an hour talking with him on Steam and explained that he needs to calm it down, quit speaking to anyone in the CS:GO division (as you requested), and just try to keep to himself for a while.

 

Here is my end all solution. Matsi, obviously some people are offended by your life choices, but again, they are your life choices. If someone is offended by what you are saying, apologize, don't talk about it again, and learn from your mistake. Keep your graphic stories to yourself or close friends (w/e). "You do you and we'll do us."

 

As for the other people, don't initiate contact and don't involve the stories you dislike. You only enflame the issue and make it worse. Just stop.

Matsi was not posting graphic porn on the site, he was merely talking about an experience he had. I think this whole situation has been handled rather poorly so far. Everyone needs to take a step back, take a deep breath, and re-evaluate all of this.

Exactly. You guys cant be saying we don't need proof or to look around proof is everywhere, because in reality it isn't. He's said a few things that people don't like, but to be honest its looking like a lot of it was in response to questions or conversations (from what im understanding). The whole drink thing in shoutbox earlier this morning... yeah dont know how you expected people not to take it the wrong way Matsi.. lets be real.

 

Yes, Matsi has done some inappropriate things on the forums/in conversations, including being rude/flaming, but there are people on the other side of the issue as well. I know of several people who are trying to get a reaction out of him, so not sure how we are putting all the blame on matsi alone.

 

Although this will get forgotten in a few days, TALKING TO PEOPLE LIKE ADULTS GOES SO FAR. I appreciate @Ohstopyou for actually taking time to message matsi and talk about it like an adult. Very few people in xG do this, but it solves so so much. If you ever have a conflict with someone, honestly just messaging them and talking it out solves 99% of the solutions.

I'm not getting heavily involved in this because it's the CLs' decision to revoke his membership (DL's can't do that), and I don't have any personal complaints or proof of my own any recent wrongdoing at the current moment. I'm essentially neutral. However, I did say that if he was causing recent issues, go ahead.

There was a convo made between Rhodo, the CS:GO higher ups, and the TF2 higher ups.

 

Not saying there isn't an issue, but I have not personally seen anything.

 

I did speak to the other side, but after that there was nothing else to discuss. I only just recently learned a little about what Matsi was saying and doing in the past from Snackbar. I then told Matsi to stay away from you guys after I learned what he had been doing.
